    Solar and wind won’t run everything the way everything is designed currently. It has been known for DECADES that solar/wind was coming and NOTHING has been done to make it happen… Decades ago it was calculated that a solar array the size of Montana and enough batteries to store the power (years before Lifpo4 batteries) could supply the entire country. It’s an absolutely ridiculous concept, but it was a known concept. If A/C and dryers were made more efficient and usable to solar/wind you could have “free” power and that’s the reason why the utilities are still spreading misinformation. I lived in San Antonio for a time where the power company is owned by the city. They had solar panels banned from being installed within the city limits for YEARS until public pressure and the fact that they wanted to charge a “premium” for wind power and they finally gave in to the pressure of being allowed to install solar panels to allow them to put up wind turbines… Now if a city owned power company can actually make money from installing windmills, why are people still stuck on the idea that it’s not a viable option? Because the only information being put out are the failures from years ago. They have hidden the numbers for the power “buyback” of excess power generation and it’s not public information at all and they don’t even publish those numbers ever. And don’t even try to bring up the 2021 winter storm, most of that was due to trying to supply power to other cities and the equipment infrastructure being useless in snow. They have known for decades that it needed to be “hardened” and chose profits first, let’s not even bring up the fact that the entire state is isolated from the rest of the country’s power grid, once again, profits over usefulness. Power generation is big business and the “little” guy will always lose.

    The company seems out of business the website does not work anymore. There are reports all over the internet their ammo have issues and causes malfunctions to customers’ firearms and injuries. Rule of thumb, don’t buy ammo from company that uses other manufacturers’ brass or makes re-manufactured ammo. Only buy ammo made by reputable manufacturers.

    Hey Elvis, am trying to get the accuracy that I need. The mold is great, producing some awesome rounds. Question: what are you using to size them to .311? Sizing mine to .309 and the accuracy is horrible. My barrel is .311 and the bullets are dropping out at about .312 - .314. Could my accuracy issue be due to the difference in the bullets and the barrel. Would really appreciate some help, Thanks in advance.

    One thing I really want to see is load development with zinc bullets cast in molds that would be ultra heavy for caliber in lead (such as what would be a 450 grain lead bullet mold for .452, but cast in zinc instead)

    I have one question, this primer material is made with various acids, is the end result corrosive ? Do you know if there's a way of home-making any non-corrosive primers ? I'm all for the home-made (mainly for budgetary reasons mind you, that and the pleasure of shooting something you can proudly say "I made this myself"), but I wouldn't want to fire corrosive ammo in my guns... Thanks for your work, your videos have been among my main sources of info from the start in reloading, bullet casting, and powder coating.

    There are a few factors that play a role with scales, either cheap or expensive : resolution, repeatability, linearity and damping . You should use your cheap scale the way it’s designed to work. An expensive analytic scale will take seconds to stabilize but that’s a different league . The cheap scale work surprisingly well if you make it re-weigh by just touching it . A kernel of powder often ist enough to trigger the scale. If you know this these scales a useable for normal use ( to periodically check a powder load). For trickling loads for f class it’s a different story

    When you use a 1 lb bottle for a good while or let propane gas out of a bottle you lower it's temperature. Feel the bottle, you will feel the change .

  • @Patrick_Gray
    @Patrick_Gray Місяць тому

    I have had an adapter just like you show for over 30 years. I have filled many propane bottles like you show. People should read the warnings on the bottle that says it is illegal to re-fill the 1 lb bottles and transport them. ** You keep saying let the air out, air is what we breathe. The air we breathe is a mixture of gases, by volume 78.1% nitrogen, 21.0% oxygen, 0.9% argon, and 0.04% carbon dioxide. ** The propane bottles have liquid propane in them that changes into a gas to leave the upright bottle. A propane tank should not have air in it, propane in gas form but not air like we breathe. ** If a tank did get a little air in it, it would not fill right. But the air would bleed out when the bottle is upright and you use it a little or release the some of the propane gas in it very carefully like you show. Propane gas is heavier than air. ** I charged air conditioners since the mid 1960's and had to be careful not to let even a little air from the gauge set hoses into a system. ** Propane like refrigerants increases in pressure when it gets warmer and has a lower pressure when cool. That is why some people say to cool the 1 pound tank. The warmer 20 lb bottle will have more pressure in it than a cooled 1 lb bottle with just a little propane. For each temperature there is a certain pressure. Each different refrigerant has a different pressure temperature table. ** Also people need to know not to over fill the 1 lb tanks! When I camp I use propane from a 20 lb bottle with a hose to my portable Weber grill. There are now refillable 1 lb tanks but they cost $20 to $30. ** The 20 lb propane bottles are only legal to refill for 12 years after the stamped date. The work around is to exchange an old tank at a excange location like Lowe's. You only get 15 lbs of propane in the exchange tank.
